 When a harsh mid-day sun is defused under the shelter of a tree you get a beautiful flattering light , match that with a relaxed and contented bride and groom and get you a lovely photo. car-tree This wedding produced lots of lovely shots but this is my favourite because of the look on the groom’s face. pete It was fun taking these photos on a wind swept cliff, the couple were a long way away and I used a zoom lens on my camera so they didn’t feel intimidated.  dicky   It is not always the kiss that is the best shot, sometimes it is the moment before or after. car-car This posy was picked by the bridesmaid on the morning of the wedding, simply beautiful. blue-flowers Holding hands is such a quietly tender thing and I love the simplicity of this shot. fran-hands At this wedding the guests were in wellies as the rain was so heavy, but then the sun broke through the clouds and I stole this wonderful moment. j-t I have used this photo before and the bride said – ‘why am I always the joke photo’, well sorry Jen but I have done it again , I can’t resist, it makes me smile. Luckily Jen is a good friend of mine which is why I can be so cheeky. jen The last moments of sun before it set I was taking this photo and my heart was racing as I needed to get the sun before it disappeared. It is always exciting photographing into the sun as you never really know exactly what you will get. sun I love the first dance – This photo feels so intimate in a room of people. caro A privilege to photography - 50 years wedding re-newal and every bit still in love. wedding-15
